Pain Patterns is designed to be simple and straightforward. If something isn't working as expected, we want to know about it.

How is my data stored?

All your pain entries are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or cloud. If you delete the app, your data is permanently removed.

How do patterns get detected?

Pain Patterns uses statistical analysis (Welch's t-test) to find meaningful correlations in your logged entries. Patterns are only surfaced when the data is statistically significant — the app won't show guesses or noise.

How many entries do I need before patterns appear?

At least 5 entries are required before any analysis runs. The more you log over time, the more accurate and meaningful the patterns become.

Can I export my data?

Export functionality is on our roadmap. For now, your data lives on your device.
